With a heavy heart but a bright vision, I will be closing the doors of GLAZE Studio at 36 N. Huron at the end of this week.
The past year has brought some real challenges, and after falling behind with payments during a particularly difficult stretch, I wasn't able to get caught up quickly enough to remain in our current space.

But GLAZE is not closing. We're moving.
I'm going to take the next few weeks to regroup, secure funding, pour a bunch of snails, and find the right next home for GLAZE — one that gives the studio room to grow into everything I've been imagining for it.

While I work on that, GLAZE will continue to pop up in the community. I'll be hosting classes and workshops at Riverside Arts Center, just down the street from the studio, and potentially at locations in Ann Arbor as well. We already have some fun Theme Nights and workshops in the works, including Snails, Fairies & Woodland, Halloween, and Day of the Dead, beginning later this summer and into the fall.

For now, I need your help getting everyone's pottery home!
I'll be packing up the studio for most of this week. Right now, I have two set pickup times at 36 N. Huron:
Wednesday, August 15: noon–3 PM
Thursday, August 16: 2-4 PM

If you have finished pottery waiting to be picked up, please come get it if you can.

If you have an unfinished piece, you can pick it up along with glaze so you can finish painting it at home.

If you ordered a snail but haven't received it yet, please contact me so I can make arrangements with you. Email Link

If you can't make either of the scheduled pickup times, don't worry. Your pottery is safe. Please get in touch with me and we can arrange another pickup time or make arrangements to have your pieces shipped to you. Email Link

At the end of this week, I'll be saying goodbye to 36 N. Huron for the last time.

Thank you to everyone who has painted here, celebrated birthdays here, taken classes, brought friends, made wonderfully weird things, supported a small business, or simply walked through the door.
